a little help, please

Okay, I know this is an awkward picture. Trust me though, it would've been even more awkward if I would've tried to hold my bulky camera out in front of me to take it.
Anyway, I need some opinions about my hairdo. (Side note: Baby G calls all hair a "hairdo." As in, "No Mama! No do my hairdo!" when I comb his hair.) So a couple of months ago I cut 8 inches off. This is the shortest my hair has been in years. And I have really liked it. I thought I might miss my long hair, but no, I really haven't at all. And now I am wondering... should I go even shorter? I am feeling tempted to cut a couple more inches off and go up to my chin. Bad idea? I can't decide. I kinda just want to go for it. Also, I think I might be ready for a more straight across bang, less of the swoop. Another bad idea? We all know that I am not the best judge of fashion and/or style, so please, save me from myself if you think it would be a bad move.

I think the short hair would be cute, but just a word of warning: if you are a ponytail girl I would not cut it to your chin because you will no longer be able to do a ponytail. If that doesn't bug you then I say DO IT!!! I think it will look cute! I'm not sure about the bangs. I'm not a bang girl, so I can't give you advice there...

I think you would look darling in a short sassy style. Look at the bright side - God made it to grow so enjoy the experience of going short for a while. You may love it! I'll love you any way you look. Maybe a wispy bang? love you tons, gma

LOL LOL LOL Karissa cracked me up! hahaha
I agree that a mid length a-line bob would look amazing on you. (see jen mccarthy pics) I'd keep the side swooped bangs in my humble opinion--blunt bangs are on their way out again, and hard to grow out. If you're a little hesitant, go half way between your shoulder and chin this time (b/c it is a big jump from where you're at now) and you can always go shorter next time. You may still be able to do a short messy poytail if you go midlength too, which is sometimes nice in a bind.

Very excited for you!!!! Your hair looks very cute right now(that's ideally what I'll grow mine out to), but I'm always in favor of changing it up and you can definitely rock short hair! Can't wait to see pictures!!!

OH MY GOSH YOU LOOK HOT!!!! Woa Woa Woa that is so your look! Oh my goodness Liz, You look so good. As far as going shorter or doing more bang, I think you'd look great. I do think the swoop is a great look on you. Straight across bangs tend to make some people look younger as in little kiddish younger, but hard to say b/c some look freakishly hot...which I'm sure would be your case:)

However, you look so totally hot with how it is. wow. so hot.

I love the cut - and it's such a change from what you are used to. I would say you could definitely bring it up another inch or two. Make sure to keep it well below your chin so you can still pull it back. The only problem you may have with the length right now is that in just a month or so you will be approaching the in-between length which is hard. It's much easier to either have it well above your shoulder, or just below. Right at the shoulder is difficult to fix because it's not a long or short style. :) You'll look beautiful regardless!!! Good luck.

I think you should cut it shorter. As for the bangs, I am not the one to ask. The last time I cut bangs I hated them and grew them out. But go short!
